If you are interested in running for an NHS officer position in your senior year, you will be asked to complete this Officer Interest Essay.  It will be posted on our NHS Google Classroom as an assignment around May, and a due date will follow.

• This essay is optional. Only students genuinely interested in running for an officer role should complete it.

• Purpose: This essay helps me learn more about your leadership goals, ideas for NHS this year, and why you believe you would be a strong candidate.

Additional Note: I will check all essays for AI-generated writing. Any submission found to use AI will result in disqualification from consideration for the election. Once all essays are reviewed, I will post the selected officer positions in our Classroom, and hold our first officers' meeting that day to celebrate your new roles and set our goals/agenda for the year.
