Make a weak kool-aid? Make strong kool-aid?

Concentration questions

Focus Question of the week: Is there a limit to the amount of salt that will dissolve in 25ml of  water?  (answer after watching next video)

Experiment video.

We made a solution because the salt dissolved in the water.  When a solid material is added to a solution until no more will dissolve, the solution is a saturated solution. Saturated mean it  cannot hold any more, just like a paper towel when you are soaking a spill, there is a certain time when the paper towel cannot hold any more water. In our experiment the water could not hold any more salt.
