Chierie Chieh: Spring 2026 Client Engagement and Relations Intern
Chierie Chieh is a fourth-year Business Administration student at Florida A&M University, originating from Lansing, Michigan. She is a first-generation American with a West African, Liberian cultural background, which informs her passion for leadership, empowerment, and community-centered work. As a Client Relations and Engagement Intern with RYSE Enterprise, Chierie plays an integral role in strengthening client relationships, supporting outreach initiatives, and enhancing brand engagement across digital platforms.
In her role, Chierie assists in developing and executing engagement strategies that connect RYSE’s mission of empowerment with its growing community of students, professionals, and leaders. She contributes to client communication efforts, content development, and brand storytelling that foster meaningful connections and long-term engagement.
Chierie currently serves as the President of HER University FAMU, a women’s empowerment organization dedicated to advancing mental health advocacy, professional development, community service, and sisterhood. As President, she leads organizational strategy, oversees marketing and outreach initiatives, and coordinates large-scale programming designed to empower young women to step confidently into leadership.
With experience in client engagement, content creation, and event marketing, Chierie brings a thoughtful, organized, and people-centered approach to her work. She is passionate about building authentic relationships, amplifying impactful stories, and supporting mission-driven brands through intentional engagement.
Chierie’s long-term goal is to continue developing her expertise in client relations, marketing, and entrepreneurship while creating meaningful impact within purpose-driven organizations and communities.
Maiya Malone: Fall 2025 Client Engagement and Relations Intern
Maiya is a Senior Business Administration Scholar at Florida A&M University, concentrating in Finance; originating from Baltimore, Maryland. As the Client Engagement and Relations Intern for RYSE Enterprise, Maiya plays a key role in strengthening client relationships, supporting outreach campaigns, and enhancing brand engagement across platforms. She assists in developing strategic initiatives that connect RYSE’s mission of empowerment to its growing community of students, professionals, and leaders.
As the Founder and President of The Etiquette Academy (T.E.A) at FAMU, an organization dedicated to empowering women through leadership, professionalism, and personal development. The Etiquette Academy is the first Etiquette Club on any HBCU or PWI campus, where the main mission is to transform women across campus into leaders who exude Poise, Elegance, and Grace. Maiya developed and facilitated a 5-week leadership and refinement curriculum for the Executive Board during the Fall of 2024 as well Summer 2025. Maiya has a proven background in managing community engagement and coordinating high-impact programming. As the Director of Marketing and Director of Events for Club R.E.A.L, she led outreach strategies that increased engagement by 50% and expanded online visibility to over 20,000 viewers.
She has gained hands-on industry exposure through the WNBA X U.S. Bank "She's Invested" Leadership Bridge Program, Extra Space Store Bridge Program, Project Destined Commercial Real Estate Bridge Program, as well as placing 2nd in the Philip Payton Cornell Commercial Real Estate Case Competition in New York City.
Additionally, in her role as a Resident Assistant, Maiya supported a community of over 100 residents, providing conflict resolution, and thoughtful problem-solving. Her experience delivering support in high-pressure environments helped her build trust, manage concerns professionally, and respond with clarity and calmness.
With a growing interest in real estate investment, sales, and strategy, Maiya is actively building her foundation to become a Commercial Real Estate Broker. She plans to earn her real estate license and begin her professional journey as a licensed Realtor following her graduation in August 2026.
Maiya’s goal is to combine her business acumen, leadership experience, and entrepreneurial mindset to create meaningful impact within the real estate industry and beyond.
Briana Dareus: Summer 2025 Client Engagement and Relations Intern
Briana is a junior scholar at Florida A&M University. She will attain her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing in May 2025. As the Client Engagement and Relations Intern for RYSE Enterprise, Briana played a key role in building the foundation and infrastructure of social media marketing, email subscriber outreach campaigns, and website updates. She assisted in content development that built upon the vision of RYSE leading to an increase in the visibility and engagement on social media platforms. Briana contributed to client surveys, business improvements through personal training, and was instrumental in providing feedback to enhance and refine the RYSE branding.
Briana has been provided many opportunities to participate in incredible experiences. She was accepted in the CEEE NextGen Program and had the chance to be mentored by high level executives in the financial industry and beyond. Briana was nominated and chosen to attend the Honeywell HBCU Summit in North Carolina to learn about STEM and their business careers. She additionally was invited to participate in Vanguard’s 2025 HBCU EXPLORE Program which provided her insights into their impactful work. Recently she had the honor of being one of two FAMU students chosen to represent at the Conference of African American Financial Professional (CAAFP) where professionals, entrepreneurs, and executives gathered from major companies such as State Farm New York Life Insurance Prudential Financial, etc.
One campus, Briana served as the Orange and Green tour campus guide which allowed her to grow in her public speaking skills while also learning information facts about FAMU. She placed in the top five in a case study exercise allowing her to hone in on her research and data analysis skills. She has been chosen for a new position as Social Chair at Southern Scholarship Foundation. She was recently accepted into the National Sales Network FAMU Collegiate Chapter (NSN). Briana’s goal is to continue her marketing passion after she earns her bachelors degree by pursuing her Master's degree in May 2028.
