Hello! My name is Mrs. Goodman

and I am the K-5 art teacher for the

Rye Neck School District!

I believe that every child is an artist! My whole life I have dedicated myself to teaching young minds how to be creative and how to nurture their creativity and use their imagination. My teaching philosophy focuses on the development of artists techniques and vocabulary as well as an appreciation for the art making process, artists and art movements throughout history and time! In my art room children thrive as they learn how to become artists, how to create successful pieces of artwork and how to appreciate all forms of art and creativity in the world that surrounds them!
