home school connection reminders

1. Please check your child's red homework folder every day. Kindly, remove the old work and return it to school. The children should check folders every morning for notes.

2. The Red Homework Folder, Math homework, Poetry Binder, and Book Baggie must be brought to school every day!! 

3. Most days, except Friday, your child will have a math page for homework.  I will indicate the homework with a weekly note.  The homework mimics the problem set page.  So...be sure to check the pages before the homework page for instructions.

4. Your child should also be reading to you for 20 minutes each day and they can log that progress into their reading log to earn stickers for excellent work.  A book bag is sent home each day and it includes just-right books that are individually picked for them.

5. Occasionally, your child will have a project or two.  You will be notified way ahead of time so that your child will have ample time to prepare.
