This year's spring performance entitled "Heritage & Horizons" will be an exciting mixed program including two original adaptations of classical works: Petra & The Wolf and Paquita Suite, along with a new contemporary work by Miss Allegra. Rehearsals will begin the week of January 26, following the conclusion of Parent Observation.
Please mark your calendars now and continue to check back daily for updates on the production!

Ticket sales will go live on April 30th. You will also receive a Ticket Email in the spring. In the meantime, you can find information about tickets under the "Ticket" Tab.
Photo Day this year will be Saturday, May 9th from 1:30-5:00 pm. All classes will run as scheduled that day with the exception of 3B/C, PP1 & PP2, all 3 of which will be cancelled.
Please visit https://www.loaustinphoto.com/rbc to sign up for portrait time slots, which will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. For any questions regarding payment or packages, please email Lo at lo@loaustinphoto.com.
Photos will be held at The Chapel location. Please have dancers arrive 10 min prior to their timeslot with hair already done, tights already on, and shoes ready to be put on. All costumes will be at the Chapel.
Due to limited waiting space and many moving parts, we ask that parents/guardians please wait in the parking lot while their dancer is getting photographed. We also ask that dancers not use the bathroom for changing. There will be private changing areas available for dancers to put their costumes on.
For recital hair assignments, please head to "For Parents" tab and then click the "Hair Assignment" Drop Down. This information will be provided closer to Photo Day.
Beginning January 26th, "Repeated rehearsal absences exceeding 3 can result in re-casting or removal from the performance".
This does not include religious holidays or official school break dates that do not align with RBC. While this does include illness-related absences, we do ask that dancers remain home if they are sick so as to not spread anything to the rest of their class.
We ask dancers and their families to help us help our students to put their best foot forward and set them up for success this recital season. As a reminder, RBC does not hold weekly Sunday rehearsals, with the exception of two Sundays in May. Preparation for Heritage & Horizons will largely take place during class times on top of regular curriculum. Furthermore, if you plan on missing a class day that includes rehearsal, please report your dancer's absence in the Parent Portal as early as possible.
