When Mr. Talen was going around pitching ROAMS to all the grade 9 classes the program seemed like a really good fit for who I am as a learner and as a person. I knew that I often struggle with making friends and a traditional classroom doesn't usually suit me well because of my ADHD and ROAMS seemed like an exceptional way to circumvent those struggles. For me, ROAMS was overall pretty successful at solving those problems as I made lots of great friends and have had infinitely more fun than if I had been locked in a classroom for 5 months and I hope more students can use and love the program as much as I do.
