Happy June! While we still aren't able to have you visit the library, I have been adding lots of new books and media to our collection! Here are my five favorite books from this week, along with an audiobook and music CD!

Good Dog, McTavish

A chapter book that has a dog for the main character is frequently a story about how the dog was rescued and became part of a loving family. This story is actually about a dog named McTavish who does all of the rescuing. The Peachey family is going through a rough patch and McTavish works with 8-year old Betty to get the family back on track. If you didn't think you wanted a dog before you read this book, I bet you will want one by the time you finish reading it.
