Russell Bands

Welcome to the website for Russell Independent Bands of Russell, Ky. The Russell Band Program strives for excellence in all areas while creating an environment where the students can grow into mature musicians as well as caring and productive adults. The founding philosophy of the Russell Bands is that concert band lies at the heart of program and all other activities are extensions. Concert band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Jazz Bands, Percussion Ensemble, Fall Guard, Winterguard and other small ensembles all provide students with numerous opportunities to explore instrumental music. In addition to involvement in these activities, many students audition and participate in many collegiate honor bands as well as KMEA District VIII and All-State Honor Bands.
