WRESTLING

We are VERY proud of our wrestlers and wrestling program here at Russell County.  We have offered wrestling since 2005 and we are looking at expanding the program and creating champions at School, at Home, and in Life.  Wrestling is the only 'martial art' and self defense sport we currently offer in school.  

Wrestling is a sport that is seperated by weight classes and is open to boys AND girls in grades 7TH - 12TH Grade.  You are allowed to participate in Varsity Wrestling in the 7TH Grade at Russell County.  At this time, practice for middle school and high school are at the same time and runs from the middle of October to the middle of February.
