ABOUT ME

My name is Eric Chamberlin

I was born and raised in Iowa and currently live in Phenix City, AL with my wife and our kids. I was in the military for 21 years and served in the Active Army, Iowa Army National Guard, and the US Army Reserves.  I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA with a Bachelor Degree in Physics and a minor in Mathematics 2003.  I attended North Carolina State University (Raleigh, NC) for one year on an exchange program (2000-01).  I also went to Faith Baptist Theological Seminary (Ankeny, IA) and earned a Master of Arts in Religion May 2007.  I earned a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Great Plains Divinity School in Sioux Falls, SD May 2010.  I recently completed several online courses through Athens State University to finalize my educator certificate for the State of Alabama in the Summer of 2019.  I will complete my EdS in Educational Leadership from Liberty in December 2024. I have 6 kids and a wonderful lady, Barbara, who is a teacher at Phenix City Intermediate School.

I have been teaching for several years and been at Russell County High School since 2017.  

I like to hike, DIY projects, and politics.  I am also the Head Wrestling Coach and help with ESports .

Sometimes I drive school buses to help get the kids home.
