After prayerful thought and many years of considering this venture I have decided to enter my name into consideration for representative for Nebraska's 23rd district of the legislature. I have been blessed by God to have a great family, and friends who have always been my stability. I have been a lifelong resident of Saunders county, growing up in rural Malmo and then after my service in the US Navy and finding and marrying Pat, the love of my life, only a few miles away, we settled in rural Prague. We have raised two beautiful children who with their families have given us four beautiful grandchildren. Life is about choices. I grew up a farm kid, and felt the passion to pursue that lifestyle on my own. I've never regretted my choice to take over the family farm after my dad decided to retire. I believe it was the best way for us to raise our family. Nebraska, and Saunders county have given me very many opportunities and I’d like to assure others have the same choices available to them. By using my life experiences I want to be able to make wise, smart decisions when considering things that affect all Nebraskans. I have had many opportunities to serve over the years, and I think it's time to step forward again.
