About Me

I am Ms. Olmstead, and I am very pleased to be your science teacher this year! I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to teach at such a unique and innovative school, and look forward to sharing my love for STEM with you all. 

While I've had a lifelong interest in all branches of science, my specific background is in the life sciences, with a degree in Zoology from UC Santa Barbara. I also have experience working in animal welfare, a veterinary hospital, and a natural history museum. My real passion though, is teaching. It warms my heart to see students excited to learn!
