Homework is given out one unit at a time. Each day homework will consist of notes or practice problems. If homework is completed on time according to the expectations listed below, students will receive full credit. If homework is completed but not up to expectations, students may be asked to fix their work by the following day to receive full credit. Late work will receive only half credit, and missing work no credit. Students may work ahead on homework if it is best for their schedules, but they should not work ahead on classwork problems. Each chapter, students will have a number of “grace days” which allow them an extra day to complete homework without having it marked late. For each grace day not used, students will receive extra credit points. All homework points for each unit will be entered onto Aeries after the unit's test, and no homework from the chapter will be accepted for credit after that point.
Students should give each problem their best shot. If they are unable to figure out a problem, they should write down what their thinking is along with a specific question about the problem. Hints are linked in the eBook and students should check their answers. Answers are posted on this page above. These problems should be completed in the student’s composition or spiral workbook.
