About Me:
I'm originally from South Carolina, but my husband is from Wisconsin. We've lived here almost nineteen years. We have a 17-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter (currently a 7th grade Gator), and a rescue border collie, Dixie.
I've been teaching for about 20 years. This is my 12th year at Gifford. This is my sixth year teaching 6th grade. Previously, I taught 4th and 5th grade at Gifford. Before that, I taught 4th grade at Fratt. Before moving to Wisconsin, I taught 6th grade for a year in South Carolina.
I received a Bachelor's in Education with a minor in math from Charleston Southern University in Charleston, S.C. When my son was two years old, I received my Masters in Education from the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse.
