In general, when the examination season arrives whether it's med-terms or final exams at any educational places from primary school , secondary or high school , college , university , vocational education or non-formal education , these are the same as our institute to have rules and regulations to control throughout examination from start ot finish. So as a writer, I would like to describe , talking in details the following points.
We have found past incidents that indicates to corruption while taking exam occured in the rooms. when the invigilator discovers cheating in examination room , what follows for sure is ends in loss and loss of opportunity for students themselves to maintain standards of examination process just like a water filter to continue producing the quality graduates for the market up next (we strictly keeps standards exist and are established to ensure for those our students as same as the examination of university's central agency does, same standards same rules). Most importantly, be upholding the honor and dignity of the university as well.
Before entering the exam room , students need to check themselves if you are dressed properly or not ?
Rules for males students : must be wearing student uniform or long pants and collared shirt or t-shirt (short or long-sleeved shirt) , tuck hem of shirt neatly into the pants , wearing sneakers or closed-toe shoes.
Rules for female students: wearing university's student uniform or wearing a skirt , a formal style of shirt with a shallow neckline , wearing court shoes or high heels with heel straps only.
Warning, To wearing sleeveless shirt or tube tops is strictly prohibited.
In case of being student's inappropriately dressed and unable to change new clothes before entering exam room , staff will allow to enter the room by: the exam permission request form will be required for student to fill up the reason for this inappropriately dressing in details and if there's a repeat of dressing mistake next time , disqualification from exam will definitely occure. Please be aware.
In addition , company uniform , gym cloths or government uniform can be considered to allow for exam also.
Before entering the exam room , students must turn off all types of communication devices , whether mobile phone , iPade , iPhone ,Tablet or smart watch etc. During the exam taking place if any signal sounds occures , it will be considered exam corruption so the university's rules will be used to operate as the punishment measures as following: student will be disqualified from all subjects in this semester and course registration for 2 semesters next being forbidden included.
For books , notes , sheets or any documents that concerned have to be put in luggage and close it tighly to get it into the room , after getting own seat then place bag on the floor beside. Do not put bag on the exam desk , do not hang bag on the back of chair.
During the exam in progess , if the invigilator discovers cheating in examination room by any type of methods , such as watching documents or electronic devices or in other ways else , the invigilator essentially have to act in accordance with examination regulations as mentioned above.
Another thing that must be informed, because of this testing is the electronic testing so many electronic tools have to be used such as wires , power plugs , lan cables , there are cables laid across the floor to the exam stations, therefore , the authority do not permit students to bring any cups or beverages into the exam room to implement safety measures and prevent short circuit so leaving them outside the room is needed.

About the exam periods that we hope for appropiate and sufficient for all student's needs. Arising from we have a large number of our students taking the exam whether it is students from the central government which has both working and studying concurrently students and only studying students or in the provinces campuses students through the country. Each term we carry out examinations we had established a standard operating procedure specified as follows:
First period, begins at 9:00 am to 11:30 am
Second period begins at 12:00 pm to 14:30 pm
Third period begins at 15:00 pm to 17:30 pm and
Forth peiod begina at 18:00 pm to 20:30 pm
In generally, students have 2:30 hours to take exam but however, there are some subjects have a time limited of less than two and a half hours for taking exam of which to be the discretion of processor or teacher
who sets examination questions.
Through the time students taking exam, the stopwatch is always in front of computer display to keep reminding how much time is left to complete exam on time. If students do not fish and submit exam on time, the testing system will automatically submit exam instead, in this case, be held to be the students' own responsibility and agency can not amend or extend the time any more so that student preparedness is in demand before testing start.
Next issue that agency always found is students arrive late or almost late for exam for example, in accordance with university's rules that students to be allowed to enter the examination room no more than 5 munites late after testing started. For students who arrive 5 munite or more late will not be able to scan barcode to gain seat number slip so it's wasted opportunities was made inevitably. In this situation, our staffs ask for reason student's tardiness and found that misunderstanding arises by student, they throught the exam start time of our agency is the same as central agency of university. Regarding this issue, the institute would like to inform that we set the rule for having either 3 or 4 exam periods per day, with 4 periods only on Saturdays and Sundays while university's central examination was scheduled exams twice a day. It is a rare occasion that there are three exam per one, which is considered a special case so we can not start the exam at the same time for above reasons. In addition,we only have 30 munites to prepare room's readiness before next exam such as setting computers to be ready to be used, prepare examination documents (only some subjects), whiteboard and magic marker for students to take a note, student signature form, etc.
When it's time for students to enter exam room, have students take their seats as indicated on slip and login into the system by filling username and password indicated on slip also. Once you have successfully logged in if it is not yet time to start exam, a countdown is displayed on computer screen until waiting over so students can click button 'Start Exam' for begining, system will download exam for students immediately. Arising from almost all the questions are multiple choice exam at present. Exam system is consisting of questions, choices, previous and next question button, on the right side of screen has stopwatch and the answered panel, this panel will tell student whether all the questions have been completed or not yet ? If the answer of which question is given, that item on panel will turn green as well as If the answer of which question is not given, that item on panel is still empty (or white color as at first) And finally, student can reach to any questions by ramdom with only clicking that number of question you want to go, by this way no need to reach to them by sequencing all the time.
Students have to click button to submit when finishing the exam completely for receiving grade-results, in this step, dialog box will be shown on computer monitor to ask for confirmation, click 'Yes', couple secs later, what grade of that subject will be informed. But if students change minds not to know grade by now and want to review exam again, can do it by click 'No' in dialog box, system will return to taking exam pages for then. After knowing exam reult , student need to receive that result slip as vital biblioography for each subject to prevent future mistake at service point around the room's entrance.
In examination processing all of the students have to sign the signature sheet. After taking exam started 15 munites, the staffs will take the account and have students sign own name one by one at each seat meanwhile having examined evidences to check whether that student is the real one who has to take exam or not. If we find out that the student is not the real one or taking the exam in place of others so the examination will be terminated immediately, beside this, that student will be punished according to university regulations next. In summary , there must be no substitute examinations happened.
Two 2 types of evidences were required for examining in testing rooms.
1. Identity Card or Thai National ID Card
2. Student ID Card or University Student ID Card
If students are not ready to show 2 types of these cards , do things as below:
1. If your ID Card was separated , you can use the other cards issued by government agencies with photo such as car or motorcycle driving license, or state official identification card ..etc for using instead of it.
2. If not receiving student card , student must contact one stop servic office to get the substitution document of student card which specified a subject to be taken exam and be back to testing room without wasting much time.
If students have no any evidences to show for being examined neither required cards nor any documents that concerned with, so students will absolutely be disqualified from taking an exam refered to university's rules which affects to all of subjects in this semester including 2 semesters next at least.

Continue from previous article, described electronic examination's overview in each academic year or each semester. Our institute had been opened exams for those students so it made readers have wide angle perspective. Today I would like to talk to it continuously in topic of our regulations that we have carried it for many years from beginning to now since the agency was established by university council in 2004 until this year 2025 so it's been 21 years and this is the 22nd year that we had been responsible. When I count age of our give servicing or agency it made me remind to in the past. At that time, the agency was a 'bureau' status but now our agency is 'institute' status. Reading up to this point , many people may be wondering how difference between bureau and institute ? I'll explain it in a nutshell, bureau means to focus on primarily an office or department that collects, processes, and distributes information while institute usually means to an organization with a broader scope, typically focused on research, education, or professional practice in a specific field. Changing our status from bureau to institute had been taken place at 2016 in the name as Electronic Academic Service Institute or EASI. In addition to the word e-Testing was accually not our agency name but students usually called us like that when we started every examinations including to most people in university as well. One other thing to be said, this EASI was centralized from e-Learning gather previous
e-Testing Bureau at 2016 as mentioned.
There are about the examination 's regulations that students need to put into practice and some sort of problems that usually occured while the exam taking was in progress that offenly be found ,here the writer is being mention. At first question from students : Why have to register for subjects at the central registration agency before to register at our agency? to answer this question, to follow university's policy designed that the purpose of the examination is to increase chance of taking the exams outside of normal exams so students may or may not register our e-Test. One more examination's opportunity will be given if e-Test registering was done incontrast, if without e-Test registration, normal examination is stil in progress, no any negative consequences at all.
The benefit of e-Test examination, if student passes exam so it is not necessary to take a normal examination any more (only that subject) because that course credit was gained already. In the other hand, if student does not pass exam he or she can take a normal examination as usual. Later question, why agency does not open for retake examination? Briefly, because we can not interrupt e-Test's space of time from begin to end of project for inserting any other examination into. In practically, this happens to difficulty effects in operation or fast conclusion , uncertain decision is made even though any complicated unpredictable situations can not be evitable to encounter finally.

To Ramkhamhaeng University students, those who live in Bangkok and from regional campuses throughout the country, students from institutes or other universities including university pre-degree students
Due to Ramkhamhaeng University by the Electronic Academic Sevice Institute has been conducted to open electronic testing called 'e-Testing' for short which students can be given the exam result , grade A or B or C or D or F after fishishing and sending exam via computer system suddenly. This is to increase chances for the student's testing beside normal semester. Our management has been done to open e-Testing over the past years since the institute was founded in 2004 by Teacher Rangsan Sangsuk , the former Ramkhamhaeng University rector and executive committee during that time
The testing is being in turnaround now, for this time is the testing of 1/2025 semester. Our institute has prepared readiness well for testing operation to those students or examinees even though any problem has been taking place during the examinee's testing period, our officers could help solve those troubles just in time until the time is up which brings about delightfulness of examinee's satisfaction assessment results to our institute continuously. By this result, our institute's operators have pleasantly kept it as service standardization as well. We would have more than 100 subjects available opened to service for those students in this semester. The newer added subjects into testing system were generally accepted to boost prospects for students to expedite to accumulate credits, moreover this mission to have greater numbers of examinees in testing system also.
This testing that held on is the first semester of year 2025. Many years past, there are some sort of appearance we found a large number of students which capable to take an exam on only saturday and sunday(working and studying in same time or from in the provinces) so it happened unconvenient for that group to do it on official day. In this case to solve problem, the director and us have known it and desided that testing room has to be expanded to accommodate a large number of those students so we get collaborated with Computer Institute to permit to use an e-Testing room at VKB building the second floor.There are 40 seats were reserved for this expanded examination.
SKB building the 8th floor was located to examination. For taking the exam of students goes smoothly and turned out well without anything goes wrong before the testing rooms were opened. We expect student's strict compliance to regulations as follows, arrive at the rooom 30 minutes before the scheduled time, scan student's code number(of your own) to receive seat number slip, consider your seat number in slip if the number prefixed with 'A' so those students have to go to the right testing room at VKB building and up to the 2nd floor before the exam begins. Otherwise, examimees take an exam at SKB building. Finally the writer hopes all of the participants good luck in your exams.

Ramkamhaeng University has realized the need to apply educational technology to improve education quality of each section that matches needs of students and public. e-Learning is the education that applies information technology with education services that Ramkamhaeng University offers as beneficial alternative to students. Training has been conducted for staffs who will be creating e-Learning lessons for students and public users. Such development of e-Learning media and sharing methods will allow students and users to improve themselves into learning society and promote knowledge-based creation with standard up to international level.
Ramkamhaeng University is market place for education which offers course variety and promotes diversity in the class including full-time students to full-time employees from various industries. e-Testing is an option for students to manage their own schedule. With various slots for e-Testing, they can specify the exam date for each subject without need to take leave from work which was an issue for some students.
e-Learning and e-Testing will be a vital mechanism for effective and efficient education management for Ramkamhaeng University. Diligent students and public can reap the benefits from applying information technology to enhance their learning experiences. Therefore, Ramkamhaeng University Council has considered to integrate Electronic Testing Bureau and Electronic Teaching Media Center, and name the new agency as “Electronic Academic Service Institute”.
