6.NS.2 I can fluently divide multi-digit whole numbers.
6.NS.3 I can fluently add/subtract/multiply/divide multi-digit decimals.
6.NS. 4 I can find the GCF of any two numbers up to 100. I can find the LCM of any two numbers 12 or less. I can use the distributive property to rewrite simple addition problems.
6.NS.5 I understand that integers have value and/or direction.
6.NS.6 I can plot or read a point on a coordinate plane.
6.NS.7 I can order integers, absolute value, and rational numbers. I can apply integers, absolute value, and rational numbers to real world situations.
6.NS.8 I can graph points in any quadrant to solve mathematical problems. I can find the distant between two points with the same x or y coordinates.
Trimester 2
Expressions and Equations
6.EE.1 I can write and evaluate expressions involving whole –number exponents.
6.EE.2 I can evaluate an algebraic expression for a given value. I can substitute values in formulas to solve real-world problems. I can apply the order of operations when evaluating expressions.
6.EE.3 I can apply the distributive property to generate equivalent expressions.
6.EE.4 I can determine that two expressions are equivalent by using the same value to evaluate both expressions.
6.EE.5 I can substitute a given value into an algebraic equation or inequality to determine whether its part of a solution set.
6.EE.6 I can use function tables to write an expression.
6.EE.7 I can solve equations in the forms x+p=q; px=q where p and q are given.
6.EE.8 I can show the solution set of an inequality by graphing it on a number line.
6.EE.9 I can create a function table that represents a real-world situation. I can determine the independent and dependent variable in a relationship. I can create a graph by plotting dependent and independent variables. I can create an algebraic equation that represents the relationship between variables.
Ratio and Proportional Relationships
6.RP.1 I can write a ratio that describes a relationship between two quantities
6.RP.2 I can convert a given ratio to a unit rate
6.RP.3 I can use proportional reasoning to solve unit rate problems. I can use proportional reasoning to find the percent of a number. I can use proportional reasoning to find the whole given the part and percent. I can use a ratio as a conversion factor when working with measurements of different units.
Trimester 3
