Welcome everyone to our math lesson this week! We will be focusing on the concept of
"one less."
This means taking away one from a number.
For example,
if you have 5 toys and you take away 1 toy, you will have 4 toys left - that's one less!
we will be demonstrating this concept during the lesson using various activities.
Let's start by holding up 5 fingers and practising taking away one. How many fingers do you have up now? Join us for a fun and educational week of learning! Can you use this tens frame to show your work?
Let’s play one less activity in the presentation!
In this fun and interactive PowerPoint, we will explore the concept of "one less" and practice subtracting one from different numbers.
Get ready to aking away one can change the quantity.
