Makaton

Makaton is a unique language programme that uses symbols, signs and speech to help younger and EAL students who may not be ready to fully communicate in a new or second language such as English.

Everyday tasks such as learning, making requests, sorting out problems and working with friends involves communication. With Makaton, this is made easier as signs are used with speech to provide extra clues about what someone is saying.
