This week we will be learning more about our new topic and will learn some new vocabulary focusing on the features of a dinosaur.

What did dinosaurs eat? We are going to learn about carnivores and herbivores today- use this PowerPoint to learn about what dinosaurs ate What did dinosaurs eat?
Thinking time:
“Which dinosaurs were carnivores?" and "Can you name a herbivorous dinosaur?"
A dinosaur is coming to your house for tea. Can you pick a dinosaur, look at its features, can you remember if it eats meat or plants? Why?
Can you write a list or draw pictures of what you would feed the dinosaur that is coming to your house?
We will read 10 Black Dots by Donald Crews.
Can we count forwards and backwards? Can we compare numbers and amounts? Can we subitise?
We will place each amount of dots onto a tens frame. What is the same? What is different?
We will play some games using Numicon pieces to make pairs to 10.
