December the 4th is Fathers' Day in school. Dads or a different adult are welcome to join in the morning activity.
Please remember that there is no school on Tuesday 5th December.
Festive Christmas fun and activities. I wonder if we get a visit from a very special person.
Now that we have concluded our topic,
'Where does it come from'
The children are very much getting into the Christmas mood!
This week we will learn Christmas songs and make lots of fun crafts. We will briefly learn about the Christmas festival and start the festivities.
What acts of kindness are you going to do this Christmas? Learn to be a kind and helpful elf for Santa this year. Try to do one act of kindness every day:
Monday - smile more
Tuesday - hold the door open for your friends and teachers
Wednesday - say something nice to make someone smile
Thursday - Offer to help someone
Friday - draw or make something for someone else
Saturday - help clean at home
Sunday - help cook at home
Gingerbread man counting. Interactive games working out one more and one less. How many gingerbread men will we have if we bake more? How many will we have left if we eat one?
We will look to quickly work out (no counting!) how many of each Christmas item there is.
We know it's a 4 because there's 2 and 2 more!
Listen to this story read by Santa!
Can you draw some pictures for Santa? You could try and write him a letter too.
