Let's Read Our New Book

What has Evil Pea been up to?
What can Supertato do to save the vegetables?
Superheroes Discussion
Who are superheroes?
Are there superheroes in real life?
What words could you use to describe a superhero?
This week we are going to
exploring Number Bonds to 10
In this lesson you will understand and demonstrate the concept of number bonds to 10 and identify different number bond combinations to make up 10
What are number bonds?
Number bonds to 10 are pairs of numbers that, when added together, make a total of 10. For example, 7 and 3 are a number bond to 10
Let’s play the number bonds game together!
By playing number bond, it allows us to build a sense of numbers and help the children develop a deep understanding of how numbers relate to each other. Children can explore and manipulate numbers in a hands-on and interactive way. This helps them recognise number patterns and understand the concept of addition and subtraction.
Have a listen to this story Supertato!
Oh no! Something has happened to the vegetables at school (or grown ups could set this scene up at home)
Who do you think has done this? I know! It must have been the Evil Pea! Can you describe the Evil Pea to your grown up.
We need to find the Evil Pea!
Can you draw a picture of the Evil pea.
Can you try and write some sentences to describe the Evil Pea at the bottom? Or you could try and write some words.
Stick this poster up and hopefully we will capture the Evil Pea!
Changing me
Let's continue to learnabout the insides of our bodies. Are there any body parts you can name?
Tapestry focus - this week we will focus on topic activities in class and outside. What are the children's interests? How are they developing skills?
