Who can remember what we were learning about...that’s right ‘Jungle Animals’.
Well now we are going to learn about something new. Let’s look in my mystery bag and see if you can guess what we are going to learn about!
We are going to sing this fun song
What was the first sea creature we met? It was a …..fish.
This week we’re going to be learning all about fish.
Let’s play a fun, fishy game together.
Today we will work in small groups to create our very own under the sea scene!
First let’s have a look around the classroom to see what we can find...maybe some sand, water, sea animals, rocks. We can even take a look outside and collect some leaves and stones or even some flowers!
We will put together all the items we have found to create our very own under the sea scene.
Now we can have a play, let's use our imagination to see what fun adventures our fish will go on!
Today is a very special day…it is 100 days of School. We are going to celebrate this by counting lots and lots of sea creatures.
Can you think of a song that has a fish in and some numbers? That’s right…
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Once I Caught a Fish Alive
Let’s share this Under the sea story, how many sea creatures can you see?
Wow 100 days of school.
In my bag I have 1 fish for each day that we have been in school. Our challenge is to put all these fish in the fish tank by the end of the day.
We are making our very own school of fish.
Who can remember what we were learning about...that’s right “Under the Sea”.
Look at some of the different creatures that live in the ocean.
How beautiful!
Let’s look a little more at the different animals we might find.
Let's go fishing with our magnet fishing game.
Now we have fished them out let’s count how many fishes we have caught!
What animal are we learning this week? Oh yes, that's right. Fish!!!
Let’s pretend that we are little colorful fishes swimming in the sea. Pick a scarf of your favorite color and move around like a fish in the sea.
Here are some underwater creatures to inspire our dancing!
Let's dive with the Little Mermaid and have a look around.
So many beautiful colourful fish
and other underwater creatures!
Can you name some of their colours?
Let’s revisit some of our colours through this song:
Have you seen how many
beautiful, colourful fish and other creatures live under the sea?
Let's decorate our 'stained glass'
