This week we are learning all about how to keep our bodies healthy by keeping them moving! Let’s start our day with our own daily Wake and Shake session!
She’ll be coming round the mountain
Today we are going to be looking at different moves; Clapping our hands, tickling our tummies, waving our hands, patting our heads, hopping on one foot and sneezing "Ah choo!". Let's see if we can try these moves together as a class.
Let's work in pairs.
One of you can choose an action card and the other child can roll the dice.
Count the dots on the dice carefully.
Then all together, do one action for each of the spots that have been rolled on the dice.
Beanbags!
Playing with bean bags can really help our coordination and to get our bodies moving!
Let’s play these bean bag song games together.
Challenge Time: Can you count the beanbags that your teacher throws into the containers?
Throwing and catching are great active games to play and help to keep our bodies active.
Today we will try and see if we can throw bean bags into different containers; bucket, tray and box.
I wonder which container we find the easiest to aim for?

Yoga poses & bike riding
Activity 1: We love riding our bikes! Today we will go to the playground and practice riding our balance bikes, it is so tricky to stay balanced and move at the same time!
Activity 2: Can you choose your favourite yoga pose? Let’s practice that pose on our special yoga mats and take a photo of that pose.
