It’s our Last Week in Nursery!

 What an amazing year it has been — we’ve learned so much, made new friends, and had tons of fun along the way!

To celebrate all the wonderful things we've done, let’s sing our favourite songs — the ones that filled our days with laughter and helped us learn from Term 1 all the way to Term 3!

Saying Thank You to Our Teachers

Now that our time in Nursery Class is coming to an end, let’s take a look back over the year and think about all the wonderful teachers we’ve met.

Thank You Cards for All of Our Teachers

We are going to make thank you cards for all the wonderful teachers who have helped us so much this year. We are very thankful for their support and everything they have done for us!

First, we’ll take a lovely group photo of the whole class to go on the front of our thank you cards—so our teachers can remember our beautiful, smiling faces.

Next, everyone will have a chance to write their name using colourful pens, so each teacher knows exactly who the card is from.

We’ll then make 19 copies of our special thank you card so that all the amazing teachers who have supported us this year receive one. 

Later this week, we will personally deliver our thank you cards to the teachers.

A BIG thank you to all of our teachers!

Where are we moving to…we are moving to RECEPTION! Let’s go to our classroom door and turn our hands into binoculars…can you spy the Reception classes? Where are they? They are up the stairs! When we are in Reception we will have to learn to climb the stairs all on our own! Let’s sing this stair counting song together. Can you hold out your fingers with the correct numbers?

We have had lots of practice during our carpet time practicing climbing and counting steps, so now for the big challenge, let’s go and try and climb and count our stairs all the way up to Reception classrooms. Ready, steady, go!

We have been trying so hard to recognise all the letters from our names. 

Today, we are going to do Alphabet yoga! Each letter of the alphabet is represented by an animal pose. Can you spot the letters from your name?

We have made some beautiful cards for our favourite teachers who have helped us this year. 

In small groups, we will go and deliver the cards to each teacher. What a lovely memory of our time in Nursery.
