Who can remember who we have been learning about? That’s right, we have been learning all about people who help us in our community. First, we learnt all about the school chef who cooks our snacks and lunches for us. Then we met our school cleaners and they taught us how to mop the floor. Today we are going to learn all about somebody new!

In my magic bag, I have some things that we can find in a garden, who would like to help me take one out? What did we find? A spade, a flower, a leaf, some seeds and a tractor! Let’s sing a song about some tractors!

10 Little Tractors

Today we are going on a special adventure to meet someone who looks after the school gardens…the gardener! The gardener will take us on a fun tractor ride- let's go!

Where: The field by the Westlake.

When: Monday & Tuesday Group 1 @ 09:00 and Group 2 @ 09:30-10:00.

Who: Monday Group 1 Butterflies. Monday Group 2 Monkeys. Tuesday Group 1 Zebras. Tuesday Group 2 Elephants.

Today, we will play a fun counting game with some beans! I will drop a few beans onto the whiteboard. Let’s look closely to find groups of two. Watch how I circle them with my pen.

Now, we will play a subitising game on the whiteboard! Think fast, look at the number of seeds, and shout out the quantities!
