Today we are going to play this fun game together, can you help me by using your ‘looking eyes’ and tell me what you can see?
All of these things in our game are called vehicles and help us to travel to different and exciting places!
Can you remember where we went last week? That’s right we went on a very exciting bus trip! This week we are learning all about another vehicle that can move us around but this time on water…can you guess what it is? Let’s sing this song to give you a clue!
Row, Row, Row Your Boat Song (funny)
We are learning all about boats! Today we will decorate some boats of our own and use our fine motor skills to learn how to wind them up to make them go! Who would like to come and see if they can make the boat go?
Choose which colour dotpens you would like to use for your boat and decorate it with as much or as little colour as you would like. What colours did you use?
Now for the exciting part, can you remember how to make your boat go? You need to twist and twist the paddle, the carefully place it in the water and let it go. Zoom through the water!
Today is a special day. Can you tell me what it is? What are we all wearing on our feet? It's odd sock day. We are all wearing odd socks!
Sit in a circle with legs all in the middle. Talk about the different colours and patterns on our socks,
We are all wearing odd socks to celebrate that we are all different and that's ok! Lets read this story about Simon sock.
Now lets play a game using our listening ears. ‘Stand up if you have spotty socks, stripey socks, pink socks etc’
Today, we’re going to explore a fun science experiment! We’ll place these toys in the water tray and observe what happens. Can you make a prediction about which toys will float and which will sink? Let’s test our ideas and see if we’re right!
Now let’s watch mom hippo doing her experiment.
Now you will conduct the science experiment by yourself. Let’s sit at the science table. Use the worksheet to record your results. What are your conclusions about it?
Morning Meet
Today we are celebrating Loy Krathong.

Do you recognise the objects from the key vocabulary section? Repeat after me.
What special items did you see in the video for the song?
Activity
Today we are going to make a flower to celebrate Loy Krathong. We are going to use 3 different sized flowers - big, medium and small. Can you put them in the correct size order?
We start with the biggest flower, then the medium flower and finally the small flower. To finish our flower, we glue a yellow circle in the middle.
We used our mathematical language to help us create a beautiful flower.
Lets sing some more boat and ocean songs!
Now some songs for our pre-writing practice:
