We summarized our article on the financial consequences of widowhood for the Dutch-Flemish magazine on aging Geron.

The Royal Holland Society for Sciences and Humanities (Koninklijke Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen, KHMW) awarded my Master's Thesis the Jan Brouwer Scriptieprijs 2021. The KHMW posted their jury report on their webpage. You can find a link to the announcement by my faculty here. 

We contributed to the media briefings  package of the European Economic Association (EEA) Virtual congress in August 2020. The article summarizes our empirical study on inequalities in long-term care needs and mortality and its implications for the benefits from LTC insurance and pension annuities.
