I am an actuary and applied microeconometrician with a research interest in the economics of aging, particularly the intersection of pensions, health, saving behavior, and social insurance.
In July 2024, I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis "Health Risks in Old Age: Implications for Household Savings and Insurance" at the same university. For my PhD thesis, the Network for Studies on Pensions, Aging and Retirement (Netspar) awarded me their Netspar PhD thesis award 2024.
