6th Grade Chorus Course Description:

Chorus meets four times each cycle. Three of these classes are small group sectionals and the fourth class is a larger ensemble rehearsal. These rehearsals are conducted during the regular school day. The 6th grade chorus performs two evening concerts and two in-school assemblies each year, with additional performance opportunities for the school and community. Chorus emphasizes vocal technique, music literacy, stage presence, and responsibility to the performing group. Sixth grade students will perform a wide selection of music in two and three-part harmony.
