Media Elementary has four core rules for all students at all times.  These rules help promote a safe, positive learning environment for all children.  The rules include being ready, being respectful, being responsible, and persevering throughout PE class.   As teachers, we aim to explicitly teach these clear school-wide expectations.  The common language helps students follow the rules in all settings throughout the school day.  

In addition to our school rules, we also promote sportsmanship and team-building through various cooperative games and activities.  Students will discuss and reflect on their behavior to help them become self-aware of their actions and words when playing with others.  I look forward to a great year of learning and growth!
