Counselor's Spot

My name is Debra Foster. Originally from the Panhandle, my husband and I moved to this area almost 30 years ago.  After my husband graduated from Texas A&M, we moved around for a few years.  We chose to make this area our home when we returned 14 years ago. 

I have been in education for 29 years, through public, private, and homeschooling opportunities.  Having taught, worked with students with disabilities, and worked as an interventionist, it was my desire to continue my service to students and families as a school counselor.  Not only am I a school counselor, but I have been a teacher and am a parent!  Having both a Senior and a Sophomore at Texas A&M, I understand the different aspects of school that parents have to endure as they prepare their children to walk through different phases along the path to enter the "real" world!  

I look forward to my fourth year of serving the communities of Round Top and Carmine.  As we walk this journey, I will be here every step in order to support the students and families of RT-C ISD.
