Counselor's Spot

Originally from the South Plains, my husband and I moved to this area over 30 years ago.  After my husband graduated from Texas A&M, we moved around for a few years.  We chose to make this area our home when we returned 15 years ago. 

I have been in education for 30 years, through public, private, and homeschooling opportunities.  While in the classroom, not only did I teach multiple levels of math/science over the years, I also worked with students with disabilities and as an interventionist. At a point in my career, it became more of a desire to continue my service to students and families as a school counselor.  Having a Texas A&M college graduate in the Class of '24 and a sophomore who continues to attend Texas A&M, I understand the different aspects of school from a parent's perspective as they prepare their children to walk through different phases along the path to enter the "real" world!  

I look forward to my fifth year of serving the communities of Round Top and Carmine.  As we walk this journey, I will be here every step of the way in order to support the students and families of RT-C ISD.
