Shoes - mens and women's in good condition, not from modern culture
Gloves - Women's fancy or plain dress gloves
Hats - Any style in good condition. Hats often make the character and we do not have a lot. We use them in our Acting class as well as in warm ups and improv games. We could use anything from cowboy hats to knights helmets to fluffy winter hats and women's fancy feathery headdresses.
Special Lights - We could use a few different style lamps, rope lights, puck lights, light bulbs, strobe lights or other specialty lights to use on stage.
Coats - are also fun for improv play. We could use anything from cardigans to trench coats, as long as they are in good condition.
Buckets with lids - We have been working on organizing our costume loft and office. We are in need of various sizes of rubbermaid style bins. If you have any that are still in good condition, let us know.
***If you have items you would like to donate to the MHS Theatre Department, please contact CatherineLeavitt@RSU57.org. If possible, send along images of the items. We only accept items from smoke free houses. Please make sure they are clean when donating as we do not have a great way to wash these items.
Other ways you can suport
There are many ways you can support Mustang Theater—whether that's through donating items such as costumes, props, or tools; volunteering your time and skills; or sharing your expertise in areas like set design, lighting, marketing, or fundraising. Every contribution, no matter how small, plays a role in helping our students shine on and off the stage.
Local small businesses are also an incredible part of our journey. By partnering with us—through sponsorships, cross-promotion, or in-kind services—you can help amplify our presence in the community while showcasing your support for youth arts education. Simple gestures like placing a donation jar at your register, hosting fundraiser nights, or displaying posters are powerful ways to show support and connect your business with a meaningful cause. Mustang Theater thrives when the community stands behind it, and we’re excited to build something special—together.
