Being a crew chief comes with a lot of responsibility, how do you think you will do in relation to having crew members and helping to get things done in a timely manner?

Small parts, large parts, non speaking extras
All Actors will be needed at every practice 3 days per week. 4 days during tech week. M, T and TH.
Must be able to meet on weekends occasionally
Responsible for character development and research on character type as well as relationships with other characters.
Must be able to memorize within 6 weeks before Performance Date
Trained to learn how to run our light and sound board and projector. Learn how to create lighting effects, mix sounds, and more.
Needed during rehearsals halfway into the show, all through tech week, and during performances if you are running the booth or helping out.
Needed at early rehearsal to plan out the lighting design. Meet as needed by Booth Manager.
Both the lighting and sound crew will be put to the test during the One Act Festival, recreating the lighting and sound design
Doing Actor interviews to find out characters, choosing costumes,
Needed to make costumes/accessories and go on shopping trips!
Needed during rehearsals at the beginning to size actors and choose costumes.
Needed during last few weeks to do alterations.
Design the makeup and hair looks for each characters
Help during the last 3 weeks of rehearsals to practice makeup and hair on each character
Help actors to apply makeup, do hair and get into costume during performances and run throughs
Help actors backstage with any wardrobe malfunctions during the show performances.
Design and Create the Set.
Must come to several practices to familiarize yourself with the play and learn about blocking.
Research techniques for building sets and familiarize yourself with terms, tools, and materials.
Design
Painters need to help painting set pieces. Painting skills can range from basic to more experienced. We need artistic people who are willing to help us create our set and learn along the way.
Need to be self motivated and responsible.
Need to be able to clean up on their own.
Need to work around actors
Needs to be a self-motivated crew with the purpose to get larger audiences to our performances.
Will be in charge of emails to people/companies who help us advertise, using the Mustang Theatre email address.
Will also be in charge of creating a poster and making copies to hang around the school and community.
Create Programs for the plays
Will work on creating a t-shirt design for the one act festival. Should organize a contest of sorts for the theatre students.
- All those involved and not needed during performance, are expected to help out during performances as stagehands
(Crew members not used as stagehands during performance)
Can be a dual role or a simple way to show support. Help seat folks during performances, sell tickets and hand out programs. Help with signaling to start show.
Needed during a tech rehearsal to see the show and go over roles, during performances.
Plan Fundraising for the year during each semester
