Bringing joy to people through song has been my passion for as long as I can remember. A Maine native, I grew up singing in a bluegrass band, as well as in my school and state ensembles. In high school I discovered through working with many talented choral conductors that I would persue a carrier in Choral Music Education.
While studying Music Education with a Vocal focus at the University of Maine Orono I directed my collegiate All-Treble Acapella group, acted as Alto section leader for Orono's University Singers, played multiple roles in Opera Workshop, traveled around the state and country studying under multiple conductors and composers, performed the National Anthem at the 2024 Commencement and assistant directed Collegiate Chorale.
After completing my student teaching at Brunswick High School and Mast Landing School I fell in love with the Freeport Community and decided to start my choral education career at RSU 5! Sharing music with RSU 5 students through teaching Piano, Voice, Chorus, Acapella and Adaptive Music is a privalage.
A resident of Freeport, I enjoy spending my time outside of rehearsal exploring the woods and waters of Maine with my friends and family.
