Students can use this link to request a locker for the 26/27 school year! Come to the main office if you have any questions!
The start of a new school year is a great time to take a look at the FHS Student Handbook.
To report a student absent, tardy, or dismissed early, please email fhsattendance@rsu5.org, send a message via Reach My Teach or call 207-865-4706, x7000. Please include the student's full name, the date of absence/tardy/dismissal, the reason, and your contact info.
Please note that a doctor's note, or similar documentation,
is required for ALL appointment related tardies & dismissals.
This is school policy, that follows Maine statute.
Until documentation is provided, absences will be marked as unexcused.
Please review this attendance document for more detailed information regarding our attendance policy.
If a student plans to be absent for personal or educational purposes (e.g. vacations, college visits, etc..), a Planned Absence Form must be completed & submitted, one week in advance. Completed forms can be submitted to Ms. Meier in the Main Office.

⬇ GUIDANCE ⬇
Our June FHS School Counseling Newsletter is hot off the press! Each issue is designed to keep our students, families, and staff informed about how we’re supporting the students of FHS, upcoming events and helpful resources.
Students will not be able to make changes to their schedules over the summer. The next add/drop period will start on Thursday, September 3rd.
Very Important Considerations:
Schedules will not be changed to be with specific teachers or peers.
You must keep a minimum course load of 6 credits.
You must have 6 credits to access Open Campus.
Schedule changes are not confirmed until you see them in PowerSchool.
Some changes may not be possible if classes are full.
Students may not request schedule changes via email.
Schedules are subject to change over the summer for course balancing.
Falcon Labs could be added to your schedule over the summer - these labs are to help students get off to a successful start! Falcon Lab placement is based on end of year and semester course grades and teacher recommendations.
