Scheduling Process

Marshwood HS Course Selection Process (at a glance):

• Classroom teachers discuss course recommendations with students

• Teachers write course recommendation and sign off on recommendation on course selection sheets

• Students fill out course selection sheets, ensuring that they choose at least 6 total credits and 4 alternates, and get parent/guardian, advisor, and case manager signatures (if applicable).

• Students input their courses in Infinite Campus

• School counselors review course selection sheets and IC input

• Students walk through their schedule for next year on Step Up Day

Steps to input your course selections in Infinite Campus:

1. Log into Infinite Campus

2. Select more, then Course Registration, then 2026-2027 MHS

3. Review the "required courses" recommended by your teachers

4. Review course descriptions in the Program of Studies

5. Click "add course"

6. Search by course name or number and select the course you want

7. Click "add request" or "add alternate"

8. Add your total number of courses:

• 6 minimum credits, 8 maximum credits, 4 alternates

• Scheduling units should be:

  • 24/32 with 2 study halls

  • 28/32 with 1 study hall

  • 32/32 with no study halls
