My name is Sue St Louis, and I have been the Guidance Secretary at the Old Town High School since 2004. In 2008 I started working with the Riverside Adult Education program as a Site Coordinator in the Old Town office. I have found it extremely rewarding to be a part of an excellent group of people who genuinely care about helping others succeed in getting a diploma and bettering their lives. In my spare time I love to go on hikes and walks with my family and dogs.
My name is Bethany Smith, and I am the site coordinator for Hampden. I come from a non-traditional education background, and have been involved in education at many age levels since 2009. In my spare time I enjoy sewing, hiking, making art, learning new things, spending time with my family, and playing story driven video games.
Judy Santos has been with RSU 26 Orono Adult Education for nearly 5 years. She is the Site Coordinator for Orono Adult Education. Her duties range from organizing the Adult Education office, coordinating the Enrichment and WorkForce Programs to CASAS testing students for our CNA programs…plus anything else that needs to be done! Judy is a Mom of 4 and a Grandmom of 2. She lives in Penobscot, Maine with her husband Dick and their dog Kelsey.
I am Samantha Randall, Program Advisor for Riverside Adult Education. I taught elementary school for many years, and recently decided to move out of the classroom and into an office position. I am currently the Human Resources and Payroll Specialist for RSU #34 in Old Town. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with family (human and furry). I have a husband, two wonderful daughters, 3 dogs and 7 cats! We live off grid and love spending time together outside hiking, kayaking, fishing and exploring the beautiful state of Maine.
Hi, I’m Kai Ksyniak, a recently retired Alternative Education Teacher. I’ll be working with Riverside Adult as Education primarily as a math tutor and general tutor. My talent is meeting students where they’re at and figuring out how I can help them. I live in Old Town and work part time at the Old Town Public Library where I run a Murder Mystery book club. My hobbies are reading, long walks, theatre and movies.
Riverside Director Rebecca Cross has a long and varied career in education, ranging from teaching elementary school in Maine to Business English classes in Mexico (with lots of stops along the way!). Rebecca treasures the honor of helping students take the next step in their academic, career and life goals. She loves the unique work of adult education, where each student is the author of their academic plan.
Hi, I am Jessica Archer, a middle school teacher at Orono Middle School where I teach 6th grade ELA, 7th grade life science and 8th grade health. I have a master’s degree and a certificate of advanced study in special education. I recently became a National Board Certified Teacher. I have been teaching adult education for two years. I am currently teaching English and tutoring students in math and English. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise, bake and garden.
