Ebooks/Audiobooks

Using the RSU #34 Digital Library

Most of our ebooks and audiobooks are housed in the RSU #34 Digital Library.

To sign in:

username: your 4 digit library/lunch number password: coyote

If your username and password don’t work, come down to the library to get some help!

To search and check out books:

Once you are in, you can search by title, author or genre.

Notice the icon for ebook and the icon for audiobook.

Click on the title of your choice and "Borrow." Read in your browser or download.

If the icon has turned to a pale grey color instead of black, that means the title is currently borrowed and unavailable.

Place a Hold on titles you want that are currently unavailable.

To read or listen to the digital titles you've borrowed:

Click on the shelf icon towards the bottom of your screen, and the books you have borrowed will be there!

Have a question or comment? Tell your librarian by chat or email: jantha.henry@rsu34.org

Search the Catalog for eBooks and Audiobooks

Another way to search for ebooks and audiobooks is in Atriuum, the library catalog. Click on the tab that says "Search" and then "Media."  Click to limit materials to "Audiobook" and/or "eBook." You can also used "Advanced Search" to do this, selecting the format type you want in the dropdown menu.

Using Destiny Discover Multiuser eBooks

Destiny Discover is our multiuser ebookshelf. While this is a smaller collection of titles, each title can be used by multiple users at once. For example, teachers can assign readings in the multiuser ebooks located in Destiny Discover, and students can read the same ebook simultaneously.

To sign in:

Access Destiny Discover

username: LMS
password: coyote

Multiuser titles are designated with the green infinity icon. There are a few items that are not multiuser.

Access eBooks and Audiobooks through Public Libraries

If you have an Old Town Public Library card or other public library card, you can access even more books here! Don't have a card? All students in RSU 34 are able to get an Old Town Public Library card as well as a Bangor Public Library Card.  Find out how to get one
