To search and check out books:

Once you are logged in, you can search by title, author, or genre.

Note: A book icon indicates that the text is an e-book, and a headphone icon indicates it is an audiobook.

Click on the title of your choice and "Borrow." You can then read the text in your browser or download it. 

If the icon is grey instead of black, that means the title is currently being borrowed and is unavailable.

You can join the waitlist for titles that are currently unavailable by placing a "Hold".

Once a copy of the book gets returned, it'll become available for the first person on the wait list. You'll receive a notification in Sora when a title you've placed on hold is available to borrow.

To read or listen to the digital titles you've borrowed:

Click on the shelf icon near the bottom of your screen. The books you have borrowed will be there! You can also go to the shelf icon, then select "Hold" to view the titles you've placed on hold. From there, you can see your estimated wait time and select "Options" to edit or cancel the hold.
