The Evans Memorial Library at Leonard Middle School was established when the school was built in 1969. Located on the first floor around the corner from the main office, the library houses a diverse collection of books, a makerspace with rotating activites, and aims to provide a space for students to read, study, and build community.
The mission of Evans Memorial Library is to provide space and resources, both physical and virtual, that empower students to be effective lifelong learners, ethical consumers and producers of information, as well as engaged community, global, and digital citizens.
Jantha Henry has been teaching middle school readers and writers for 21 years. This is her second year as a librarian and she is incredibly excited for the opportunity.
