Summary: Doctor Strange teams up with a mysterious teenage girl from his dreams who can travel across multiverses, to battle multiple threats, including other-universe versions of himself, which threaten to wipe out millions across the multiverse.
Joyce's Review: Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness was an excellent movie overall, but it of course had its flaws. The big one that brought it down in rank was that the movie description doesn’t accurately describe the movie. A large part of the movie has to do with Wanda or The Scarlet Witch, but she isn’t mentioned in the summary. The other main problem I have with this movie was that you had to watch the other Marvel T.V. shows (primarily Wandavision) in order to fully enjoy the movie. Several important events take place that revolve around the events that happen in Wandavision. This makes it a lot harder to understand if you hadn’t watched that series.
There were some positive things that I did notice as well. The visuals in this movie were fantastic! The fighting scenes start off in the normal marvel way with a joke thrown in here or there and magic flying out of characters hands, but further on, things take a darker twist. This was an interesting direction, but it turned out marvelously. Some of the best scenes included zombiism, witchcraft, and other sorts of dark magic. The plot overall really kept the watcher on the edge of their seat wondering what might come next.

Joyce's Review: The Bad Guys honestly surpassed my expectations. I watched the movie expecting it to be just another kids movie, but I was very wrong. The Bad Guys had a clear plot, foreshadowing, and excellent character development. It’s lighthearted, but (for kids) it tackles some important subjects. It shows that even “bad people” can be good if given the chance, and shows that kindness can go a long way. The Bad Guys hold a faster pace than a lot of children's movies. It incorporates a few Superlatively put plot twists, which create strong emotions varying from betrayal to pleasant surprise. The well-developed characters have clear character arcs. Sometimes when a character goes from being bad to good, they have their personalities or morals change dramatically to fit the role. The writers were excellent in keeping their morals and attitudes the same, whether good or bad.
One complaint of the movie was that the main characters:Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Shark, Mr. Piranha, Ms. Tarantula, Mayor Foxington, and Professor Marmalade are all animals while all of the other characters are human. This could be to clearly see who the important people are in the movie or simply an artistic decision. Personally, I didn’t notice at first, but once I did, I couldn’t get it out of my head. Other than that, I don’t have any complaints. This would be an amazing movie to play if you are babysitting and don’t want to watch a movie you have already seen 100 times.
