HELLO BESTIES! I'm a senior at SMHS and I moved here from Utah in March 2021. My biggest personality trait is being a Taylor Swift fan, and I will make it everyone's problem. I will tell you about her re-recording her stolen albums. Plus I have the coolest car, Kiwi, the neon green Hyundai Kona.

Moira Sankey

Hello! My name is Moira Sankey and I am a senior at Sumner Memorial High School. This is my fourth year working on The Roar, and I'm incredibly grateful for the experience and what it's taught me. My favorite music artists are Louis Tomlinson, One Direction, Yungblud, and Taylor Swift.

Hannah West

Hello, I am Hannah West. I am a freshman at SMHS and I have a severe addiction to cats and Minecraft. I don't like talking to people, but I enjoy painting. Karl Jacobs, my beloved, gives me inspiration. I often get told I am funny and fantastic.

Mya Hinkley

Hello people, I am Mya Hinkley. I have traveled the U.S. ever since I was born. My best friend, Teresa, lives in Connecticut and you may watch me show her off. She is my soulmate. You can find me watching Hercules and also looking at sick gaming clips and stalking my favorite agent, Reyna. She is a purple, soul taking queen and I can't stay away. She is the most beautiful nonexistent person to exist. I have her as my background on almost anything. It’s an addiction; it's a lifestyle.

Mary Greene

HI everyone! I am Mary Greene, I have 3 cats named Mr. Peaches, Luna, and noodle. I am an only child. I love K-POP, all music, animals, anime, star wars, traveling, crystals, fashion, makeup + much more. I am a PLANT MOM! I am in love with the city. I am a SENIOR here at Sumner and I'm originally from Orlando, Florida. I moved up here during the summer of 2019.

I am Sterling and I am a Student at Sumner. I wear leather jackets and am tall, outrageously tall. I like Russian stuff and I am not good at math. I have a crippling obsession with Dwayne Johnson and Gordon Ramsay.

Josh Cramer

Hi! My name is Josh Cramer and I am pictured by Adriana's blanket curtain. (No I did not write that, but I'm keeping it.) Being a sophomore, I'm in the class of 2024 and the current Class Secretary. I'm practically Adriana's ghost twin, but that's because we're the exact same race. I have 3 dogs, Kane, Bella, and Cocoa. Music is my biggest hobby and this is my first year taking Journalism.

Abigail Wolford

Hello, yes I am Mrs. Wolford's daughter and I'm currently a freshman. I love my cat, Tiger and his thumbs. I like fantasy TV shows like Supernatural and Grimm. I also like video games for the lore because I cannot play. I like to write and look up what names mean. I also know tons of random knowledge about history, fashion, animals, and an abundance of other topics. My favorite site is Artbreeder and I advertise it all the time. I dare you to ask me about it. I get aggressive when people think they aren't good enough because I know that they are worth more than they can ever imagine.

Hello! My name is Saben and I'm a freshman at Sumner! I have an unhealthy addiction to Tom Holland and Shameless. I have 3 cats, a dog, and too many chickens and ducks. My cats are named Sierra, Kiomi, and Mr. Man. I'm also really tall! I grew up in Maine, and have lived in Sullivan for almost my whole life.

Hola friends, I'm Adriana and I am a sophomore. My only personality traits are being Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 (yes, I was born in Maine.), being a vegetarian 🥦, loving Hello Kitty, and reading books that make me sad 📚. I'm most seen around Sumner in Room 10, bothering Mrs. Mathewson or working on projects in the art room.

Mackenzie Graten

Hey! I'm Mackenzie, I'm currently a Junior here at Sumner and this is my first year of journalism. I have two dogs (Bear & Seamus) and a cat (Clover). I love playing Horizon Zero Dawn and The Last of Us and love the Gundam and Transformers franchise. I love writing, building Gundam models, and listening to music. All time favorite books hands down have to be The Song of Achilles and One Last Stop.

Hello everyone! This is my first year leading the Journalism class at SMHS, and it brings me incredible joy. I work with a spectacular group of students who are motivated to share their creativity. In my spare time, I love to take walks with my dogs, listen to music from around the world and cook foods from diverse cultures! I have to admit, I have my husband Will to thank for all of the pop culture references I know. Our Journalism class has nicknamed him "Bestie Will" because of it! You may already know, but I am incredibly passionate about teaching and I LOVE Sumner!!!
