My husband and I love living in Kennebunk! We have raised three children here who have all enjoyed going through the RSU#21 schools. My step-daughter and her husband live in Burlington, VT and we love visiting them and our three grandchildren.
I have a degree in mathematics and computer science and a master's in business administration. I started a programming career and have had a chance to work in cities like Hartford, Boston and Geneva, Switzerland. While completing my MBA, my husband and I wrote the business plan which became Huntington Common here in Kennebunk. Interesting side note, we actually moved into Huntington Common to learn more about the area and we ended up staying there for two and a half years.
Having helped start a business in town and assisted my husband in local development projects like Coastal Woods, I see the Kennebunks and Arundel as a thriving, friendly and helpful business community. While working with students on internships and cooperative education experiences, the businesses have been a terrific source of guidance, as guest speakers to classes, as well as internship mentors and employers. What a great partnership for the schools and local business!
