COMING UP!

Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025: 6th Grade Band & Chorus Holiday Concert 6:00 p.m., OMS Gym

Congratulations to OMS Band members Derreck Maxcy, Harper Kenniston and Rhys Hatch for their nominations to the District III 7/8 Jazz Band Workshop and Festival! They will travel to Morse High School this Saturday, December 6th to rehearse with a jazz big band all day and perform a concert at 3:00! Concert is open to the public; $5/ticket, 5 and under are FREE!

Our annual District Band Night is just around the corner! Band students are asked to arrive at OHS by 5:00 p.m. for warm-ups!

Congratulations to the OMS Bands on wonderful holiday concerts! 🎄 And thank you to the families and community members who came to support our young musicians! So much fun! Happy Holidays!

6th Grade Band & Chorus Concert: Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

Please Note:

All students should arrive at OMS 5:30 p.m. to warm-up
All students should wear Concert Dress: all black from head to toe.
Both concerts are free and open to the public held in the OMS gym.

6th Grade District III Honors Band Info:

Congratulations to twelve OMS 6th grade band students on being accepted into the festival, to be held March 14th in Brunswick!

7th/8th Grade District III Honors Band Info:

On Thursday Nov. 7th, 2024, forty OMS band and chorus students traveled to Camden-Rockport Middle School to audition for the District III Honors Festival. We are very proud of them all!
Congratulations to twenty OMS 7th/8th grade band students on being accepted into the festival, to be held April 4-5, 2025! Your hard work, practice and perseverance pays off! Great job!
