Academic Program

We have Bachelor of Science (Radiological Technology) program.

Each academic year, our students who pass the entrance examination with intensive interviews, come from 60 high school graduates nationwide.

We provide our students with a broad range of three major areas in radiological technology, including radiological imaging, radiological therapy, and nuclear medicine.

In the program course of the study, our students have required the take basic sciences and general educations for an estimated of 1.5 years. However, at the first year, we have provided students with basic professional courses as well such as Introduction to Radiology and Research Methodology. We emphasize our students on both theoretical and clinical skills. In addition, we have encouraged students’ participation in jointactivities in music, sports, recreation, and community service as well as participation in the administration of students’ projects

Our faculty equipped with modern equipment and modalities for teaching including:

  1. Diagnostic radiology such as digital x-ray machines, CR, DR, Ultrasound with PACS including full-body x-ray phantom, ultrasound imaging test phantom, radiation dosimeter, and QC instruments.
  2. Radiotherapy such as the Monaco system for radiation therapy treatment planning, and VR (virtual reality) for radiation therapy laboratory.
  3. Nuclear medicine such as hot labs.

Program Structure

  • General education course 30 credits
  • Special education course 108 credits
  • Free elective course 6 credits
  • Total 144 credits

Lecture: 1 credit, equivalent to 1 hour per week or 15 hours per semester.

Lab: 1 credit, equivalent to 2-3 hours per week or 30-45 hours per semester.

Internship: 1 credit, equivalent to 4-6 hours per week or 60-90 hours per semester.

After the coursework for three years, students are required to practice internship in the real setting at various leading hospitals in the fourth year before they graduate, particular in high standard hospitals of BDMS which has MOU with us. Total internship hours: 1,120 hours.

Evaluation & Graduation Requirements

  • Complete 144 credits approved for the degree
  • Complete all the requirements for the degree not less than 4 years form the date of the first enrollment
  • Pass at least 2.00 GPA.

  • 50 - 60 persons/year

Accreditation

The Bachelor of Science (Radiological Technology) program accredited by the Thai Radiologic Technologists Professional Board since 2016.

Student Activities

To foster the readiness of the students to go out facing the working life and to equip them with the basis for self-improvement, the Radiological Technology program has encouraged students to participate in joint-activities in cultural arts preservation activities, sports, recreation, and community services as well as participation in the administration of students’ projects.

This is done on the basis of a belief that a perfect university must be responsible and give due importance to enhancing and developing the students’ personality in all aspects including academics, ethics, personality, health, and culture. To allow the students to make their choices according to their inclinations and interests, the University has set up a football field, a basketball field, track and field, sports, etc.

In addition, we recognize corporate social responsibility or CSR. Therefore, faculty members and students of 2nd and 3rd year organize community service activities in the area around the university every year to educate people about the use of radiation in medicine.
