ABOUT
MARQUETTE HIGH SCHOOL

Marquette High School is a public high school in Chesterfield, Missouri that is part of the Rockwood School District. In early 1992, Rockwood School District determined the necessity of constructing two new high schools to serve an expanding population. Marquette High School opened its doors on September 7, 1993, on the same day as Rockwood Summit High School, which was the first time a school district in the St. Louis area had opened two new high schools on the same day. While Marquette High School serves the smallest geographical area of the four Rockwood School District high schools, it has the largest student body due to population density. Marquette has consistently ranked in the top 10 public high schools in Missouri by U.S. News & World Report. Marquette High School currently serves 2300 students in grades nine through twelve.
