I grew up in Spring Green and attended college in LaCrosse. While attending college I had the opportunity to spend part of my student teaching experience in Australia. I graduated in 1997 from UW-LaCrosse with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary & Middle Level Education and a minor in Special Education. I earned my Master's Degree in Education from Viterbo University in 2002.
I began my teaching career in the fall of 1997 at St. Mary's Catholic School in Richland Center where I taught for one year. I taught for sixteen years for the Mauston School District, mainly teaching fifth graders at Lyndon Station Elementary School. I joined the Reedsburg School District as a 4th grade teacher in the fall of 2014, and I love being a part of the Prairie Ridge Intermediate School staff.
I live in Reedsburg with my husband and three daughters. In my free time I enjoy running, reading, camping, and spending time with my family.
I team teach with Mrs. Schuenke. I teach language arts and science, and Mrs. Schuenke teaches math and social studies to our homeroom classes . I love teaching fourth grade, and I am excited for each new school year!
