Biography

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me!

Here are some quick facts for you.

I grew up here in Reedsburg and I'm now working with some of my former teachers! I won't say which ones; you'll have to just guess. :-)

I earned my bachelor's degree from UW - Platteville and my master's degree from UW - La Crosse.

Before joining Team Reedsburg, I spent five years teaching in Rib Lake, five years teaching in La Crosse, and one year teaching in Baraboo.

My wife teaches music in Hillsboro and I'm confident my daughter Sophie is the reason I'm losing my hair so quickly. Whether she's jumping off the couch (onto my back with an elbow drop), diving into the pool, or randomly deciding she immediately needs to show somebody a running summersault, she's (terrifyingly) fearless.

In my free time I like to play volleyball and I've spent my fair share of time this summer wiping out while trying to prove to my niece and nephew I can still slalom water ski.

Since joining the Reedsburg District teaching staff, I've been overwhelmed by the support and positivity this community has for their schools.
