Classroom Rules and Procedures

While I will be adhering to the 6^th Grade Guidelines as prescribed by the 6^th grade team, I will be incorporating additional rules and interventions into our classroom. Listed below are the classroom rules and possible consequences that may be used to correct student behavior.

Classroom Rules

In our classroom, students are expected to:

• Be respectful toward other students, school staff, and ourselves.

• Be prompt by coming to class on time.

• Be prepared by having all necessary materials.

• Be a polite and positive participant.

• Be productive.

• Be a problem solver.

Interventions

• Nonverbal Warning

• Verbal Warning

• REFOCUS Form

• Conference with student

• Contact parent (possible conference)

• Referral to STAC
