Welcome to AP U.S. History! In this class we will examine the development of our country from the era of colonization through the periods of revolution and independence, westward expansion, sectionalism and civil war, industrialization, war and depression, social movements, and the recent past.
This is designed to be a college-level U.S. History survey course taught to highly motivated, intelligent high school students. The expectation is that students will assume responsibility for completing all reading and writing assignments. Review texts and past examinations are available for student use in order to prepare for the A.P. Exam.
